Roald Dahl Day

On Tuesday 13th September, Squirrel Class came alive with our favourite Roald Dahl characters in celebration of the great man’s 100th birthday. They joined children from all over the world in celebrating Roald Dahl Day!
The children looked absolutely incredible in their costumes, from Willy Wonka to Fantastic Mr Fox and a very mean-looking Miss Trunchbull! They very much enjoyed performing some of his most famous stories to the rest of the school during the afternoon.
After school, we held a dahl-icious cake sale, raising over £50 for the Roald Dahl Marvellous Children’s Charity! Thank you to all of the parents that supported us with both costumes and cakes!
We even made the front page of the Gloucestershire Echo! Have a look at the article here.
